How Skyjo scoring works

Skyjo is played over several rounds, and the player with the fewest points at the end wins. Here is how the points are counted, and how SkyjoScore does the math for you.

Skyjo card values

A Skyjo deck has 150 cards with values from -2 to 12. At the end of each round, every player adds up the values of their face-up cards. Negative cards lower your score, and a column of three matching cards is removed and counts as zero.

Ending a round and the doubling penalty

As soon as one player turns all twelve of their cards face up, the round ends for everyone. If that player does not have the lowest round score, their round total is doubled as a penalty. SkyjoScore applies this doubling automatically.

How the game ends and who wins

The game ends once any player reaches 100 or more total points across all rounds. The winner is the player with the lowest cumulative score.
